In an effort to reach our growing home school population, we have combined the best aspects of public schools and learning at home. Enrolled families meet on a predetermined regular basis with an experienced educator who is knowledgeable in setting goals and objectives, suggesting alternatives, recommending resources, and assessing progress. The program is available for students in grades K through 12.

High school students work closely with their counselor and depending on the amount of credits earned, have the choice of graduating with either a PACE Academy diploma or a North Mason High School diploma. Students in the HomeLink program utilize NovaNet as their primary instructional program. NovaNet is a computer based learning system which offers a large on-line library of interactive instructional courseware. It provides students and instructors with access to 10,000 hours of self-paced instruction in more than 150 subject areas. NovaNet was developed by the University of Illinois' Computer based Education Research Laboratory and represents over 35 years of research and development. Instructors work closely with students on-line and supplement all instruction with a variety of off-line assignments. Students progress through coursework only when they have achieved mastery. Credit is granted when students complete and master all on-line and off-line work.
