NORTH MASON HIGH SCHOOL HIRES NEW HEAD BASEBALL COACH - RICK BIEHL
As a graduate of North Mason High School, Rick has a deep love for his hometown. He played baseball at NMHS under two Washington State Hall of Fame coaches: Coach Hultberg, and Coach Geyer, then continued his baseball career at Olympic College. He received his BA from the University of Washington, and his law degree from Seattle University. After 10 years of being away, he moved his family back to Allyn with his wife where they are raising their six children.
Rick has been deeply involved in the community, especially in youth sports including coaching Little League, middle school, and travel ball teams in the area. He is excited for the opportunity to continue to build a successful baseball program as the new head baseball coach at NMHS. He hopes to instill his passion for the game in his players, as well as help them learn the skills and qualities it takes to be kind, successful adults, good community members, and loving husbands and fathers someday. He hopes to help each player recognize their full potential, and reach their current and future goals both on the field, and in life.
